My fascination with photography started early in life. As a child I remember seeing an image projected onto a piece of paper and then magically come to life as it floated in a tray of darkroom chemicals…I was hooked. From that moment I knew I wanted to take photos and have had a camera in my hands ever since. 

I have had the opportunity to work in many areas of photography with most of my time spent in college athletics, K-12 schools and camps. Much of that work is about timing and capturing the right moment but it also involves being able to tell a story. That storytelling aspect is what drives me. 

Having been asked over the years to take product photos or portraits of artists or businesses, whether for their website or print material needs, I discovered that something was missing. There was no connection between the client and their customer…Who is the client? What is their mission? What drives their passion for creating their product or service? That connection comes from storytelling. We use a combination of photos and videos to help our clients better connect with customers, understanding that customers who can emotionally connect to an artist/business are more engaged and loyal.
